La Mulata De Córdoba (Español e ingles)

Es una historia popularmente difundida, la cual está llena de misterio y magia. Cuenta la historia que en los tiempos en que la inquisición llegaba a México había una mulata en la villa de Córdoba que acostumbraba sanar enfermos utilizando hierbas, esto era mal visto, pero la mulata continuaba yendo a la iglesia así que no levanto sospecha alguna. Un día el gobernador de la región le declara que está enamorado de ella y al ser rechazado éste se enfurece y decide denunciarla a la inquisición, la capturan, la encierran culpable de brujería y la sentencian a morir en la hoguera. Mientras estaba encarcelada la mulata le pide a un guardia que le acerque algo con lo que pueda escribir la pared, el guardia accede y le da un gis o una tiza, ella la utiliza para dibujar en la pared un hermoso barco, al terminar el dibujo le pregunta al guardia que le faltaba al barco para que sea perfecto, él le responde “Navegar”, a lo que la mujer responde “Pues, Navegará” al instante la mujer se metió en la pared, se posiciono adentro del barco y éste comenzó a navegar hasta que desapareció de la pared por completo. El guardia fue corriendo a contar esto a las autoridades, pero nadie le creyó y lo tomaron por loco.

It is a story popularly disseminated, which is full of mystery and magic. 

The story goes that in the days when the Inquisition came to Mexico was a mulata in the town of Cordoba using herbs used to heal the sick, this was frowned upon, but the mulata continued to go to church so she did not raise any suspicion. 

One day the governor of the region declared to him that he loves her and being rejected he becomes enraged and decides to denounce the Inquisition, the captur , the enclosed guilty of witchcraft and sentenced to burn at the stake.

 While he was imprisoned mulata asks a guard to approach something that she can write on the wall , the guard agrees and gives her a piece of chalk, she used to draw on the wall a beautiful boat , at the end of drawing asks the guard was missing the boat to be perfect, he replied " Browse ",  to which the woman replied, "Well, the boat will sail " immediately she got into the wall,  positioned herself in the boat and he began to sail until it disappeared from the wall completely. 

The guard ran to tell this to the authorities , but no one believed him and took him for a madman .
